Roll Bounce Volume One
Classic, old-school hip-hop. By far one of my most popular mixes ever!
This one might be the mix I’ve received the most feedback over the years. People seem to really love it. I had an absolute blast making it, carefully selecting the tracks and obsessively piecing together the arrangement. I basically wanted to make my ideal classic hip-hop mix, and this is what I came up with. I received so many compliments I ended up making a volume 2 a year or two later. Great for long road trips!
Special Edition
Funk/soul/hip-hop edits galore
This mix is an absolute trip! Includes a ton of my favorite hip-hop/funk/soul edit 45s. Edits are typically unauthorized bootleg remixes, or sometimes mashups… combining classic accapelas or instrumentals in new & unique ways. It’s got a ton of throwback favorites you love, but presented in new & exciting ways. A sure-shot crowd pleaser. Great for a Summer BBQ or block party!
Guilty Pleasures
A special 80’s mix
Throwback vibes galore with over one hour of my favorite 80’s jammy-jamz. I spent a ton of time curating this mix, putting the songs in just the right order so it flows nicely (which was no easy feat!). I’ve gotten so many random compliments from this mix over the years that I had to share it here. I once received an email from a cycling instructor saying how much she loves using it in her spinning classes! It’s also a great house-party secret weapon.
Planet Dubwise
Classic Early 2000’s dubby favorites
Transport yourself back to the golden years of dubwise drum & bass (2000-2010) with over two hours of amazing tracks from Calibre, Breakage, Equinox, Marcus Intalex, Tactile, Sonic & Silver, Total Science, Marcus Visionary, Digital, Spirit, & more. I also threw in a modern surprise or two for good measure.
Special shouts to Rohan and the entire Bassbin family. Putting out two records on Bassbin in the early 2000's with my dear friend Mike still ranks near the top of my proudest moments. I still carry so much love for that era and this sound, and I'm proud to share this mix as a tribute and thank you letter to all of the producers and labels who made it so amazing.
